The property was a cattle farm for many decades and was purchased by the current owners in the 1960’s where it continued to be run as a cattle ranch. In the 1990’s the son (current owner) was keen on protecting land and started a reforestation process. Over 30,000 trees were planted, including Teak, Pochote, Melina, Cocobolo and RonRon among others. In August 2008 two wells were officially drilled and registered, ensuring legal access to water at all times.
With great building sites and access roads the project has been developed into 42 private residential lots and 7 commercial lots plus 3 private reserves. While the Estate can increase the number of lots, it has not been currently planned further. Lot sizes are approximate and final measurements need to be performed.
There’s an incredible 90m (300ft) waterfall in the middle of the property The ocean can be seen from various levels and areas. Hermosa Falls Estates has been carefully planned around the best access, privacy and beauty.

Garabito, Costa Rica. Boasting an incredible 90m (300 ft) wild waterfall, with an existing internal road system, electricity and water and stunning, reforested, managed forest.
